In 1968 he broke his neck in a diving accident and was told he’d be in a nursing home for the rest of his life. He used athletics to regain much of his abilities. Handicapped Van Wins a Drag Race. My dad who used to be two time world champion in drag racing in the 90’s was injured and became paralyzed. Years later he goes to the track and dials in his Handicapped van just to see if he still got it…AND HE DOES!

Wheelchair Camera video of my game of Toy Story Midway Mania. This video was taken at the DIS-A-Palooza Party at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida. I did not score very well, because I can only use my left hand. Also, I apologize for my head bumping the camera. I was able to roll my power wheelchair into the Toy Story Midway Mania vehicle to play. The game control was easily reachable, even while wearing my positioning harness.
